Handmade Malian Woven Rattle

Description

his Malian Woven Rattle is a truly engaging piece of African
craftsmanship and culture. Rattles have always played an important role
in ceremonies and celebrations in Mali and throughout African culture.
The rattle is woven reeds into a cube shape with a short handle. The
reeds have been dyed an artistic array of colors: purple, blue, yellow,
and gray. Approximately 6” in length.
