This is a suede medicine bag which is strung to wear around the neck. The color of the leather is mahogany. It measures 2” wide and 2” high. The lead-free pewter design hanging from the leather thong is seen in the picture.

To me, a medicine bag is a place where you put things that when you pull them out and look at them, they make you feel better (just as medicine does). In my pouch I carry my wedding ring that I grew out of, a miniature baseball card, and a glass bead. They remind me of a lifetime spent with my best friend, wonderful years of collecting baseball cards with my youngest son, and my passion for glass anything.
